Holly Willoughby will reportedly reunite with her This Morning family, a year after leaving the show.
The blonde bombshell has been rarely seen on the silver screen ever since she left the ITV morning titan in October 2023. It was later revealed that the host was the victim of a terrifying plot to kidnap and murder the star.
According to pals of the former model, Holly was left traumatised by the incident, adding that she had developed a fear of presenting live TV. However, she plucked up the courage to take to the microphone once again earlier this year when she returned to host Dancing on Ice.

Since then, the star has been camera shy, only making sporadic appearances on other shows such as Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. But on Wednesday (September 11), Holly will reportedly make her grand return to the screen as she takes to the stage to present a gong at the National Television Awards.
Backstage, she will be able to reconnect with her This Morning family, including Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond – who are set to be in attendance. Alison herself is up for Best TV Presenter, though she faces some tough competition from Traitors star Claudia Winkleman, as well as Ant and Dec – who have won the award consecutively for more than two decades.
The show itself is set to be hosted by comedy icon Joel Dommett, who helped out at This Morning over the summer, offering cover whilst Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard took some much needed time off. Speaking to The Sun ahead of the ceremony, Joel admitted he was thrilled to see the pair at the helm of the show.
“Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, they’re so good at it, just watching them work makes me happy,” he explained. “They’re professional and brilliant and wonderful to watch.
“There’s certain people like Alison, who is incredible in an entirely different way,” he continued. “There’s something that she has that you can’t teach and you can’t bottle it.”
Other well-known stars have also joined the growing troupe of presenters who are set to give out awards during the show. According to The Sun, a number of stars from the Netflix smash Selling Sunset are set to make an appearance, having jetted into London to give out the nod.
This is the 29th edition of the National Television Awards and is set to be held in the O2 Arena in London for the fourteenth time. Joel Dommett will return to present the awards show for the fourth year running, with performances expected from the likes of music superstar Olly Murs.
The National Television Awards will take place at 7:30pm tonight on ITV1 and ITVX.
