Kerry Katona has opened up about being the victim of a daylight robbery at a swanky Mayfair hotel while with her fiance, Ryan Mahoney.
The star shared in her New! Magazine column that she’s had thousands pinched while they were out grabbing a bite. The mum-of-five shared her ordeal: “I was robbed in London while staying in a hotel in Mayfair last week I couldn’t believe it, I have the worst luck.
“Ryan and I were checking in to the hotel, which I won’t name, and since our room wasn’t ready we left our bags with the concierge and grabbed some lunch.” She continued, revealing what was nicked: “I left my Gucci holdall with them which had all my medication in it for my back and chronic pain, the phone I use for my banking apps, my earphones and much more.

“I did notice a man who was acting strangely in the hotel lobby while we were there but I don’t like to judge people, so didn’t think anything of it. However, later the hotel said my bag was missing and after checking the CCTV, we saw him take it once Ryan and I had left.”

Kerry noted the luxury and loss, saying that Gucci duffle bags alone can set you back over £1,200 not to mention the personal items she lost. But it wasn’t just the price tag that upset Kerry, as she mentioned: “It was so triggering for me and I did feel emotional afterwards, it’s just so scary to think you’re not safe.”
The star also spoke out after her home was broken into, leaving her feeling scared and frustrated. She said: “Thankfully, Ryan and I are OK and things can be replaced, it’s just frustrating and scary.

“I don’t understand how people can wake up and decide to do these things, it’s awful. When things like this happen it makes me scared to go out as I don’t want to be targeted.”
Kerry has recently revealed that she’s planning to have a facelift, inspired by her friend Katie Price. The two are set to star in a production of Cinderella as the “wicked step-sisters” this December.

However, Kerry has decided to put the procedure on hold until next year, after the pantomime. In her column, she explained: “I’ve got panto in December, where Katie Price and I are starring in Cinderella, so I’m not going to have it done until next year.”
