Kerry Katona has become closer than ever with her long-term friend Katie Price, with the pair planning some body art following moving in together during their current theatre stint
Two long-time friends have decided to take the ultimate step together – matching tattoos as a permanent reminder of each other. Both Katie Price and Kerry Katona have revealed their plans for their latest pieces of body art.
The pair have got even closer recently, as they moved in with each other. Both Kerry and Katie are currently starring in a pantomime in Northwich, Cheshire. Katie moved into Kerry’s home during her theatre stint as one half of the Wicked Stepsisters in Cinderella, with Kerry taking the second role.
Not only that, Kerry says her tattoo artist will remain close to home also. She let slip that she had bought her 21-year-old daughter Molly a tattoo gun, which she has big plans for.
According to the Sun, she will use the machine to get a matching tattoo with her close friend, Katie. While they have not confirmed the pattern, she did make reference to a “simply squiggle.”
The ex-Atomic Kitten singer has already got matching arm tattoos with her daughters, in the form of a star. She shares them with daughters Heidi and Lilly.
Kerry is mum to Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 14, and eight-year-old DJ from a previous relationship. She recently split with her long-term fiance Ryan Mahoney over a “breach of trust,” and Katie has moved in to the home he left in November.
The pair had spent years together – hoping to make it work long term. Kerry opened up about her heartache, revealing to OK! that Ryan’s packed his bags and left their Cheshire love nest over a “breach of trust”. Pouring her heart out in her column, Kerry confessed: “Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house. We are no longer together and it’s been a really tough week – I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.”
She added: “I don’t know if we’ll be able to work it out or not, but I do still love him so much. I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it’s so much to deal with, I am really struggling. But I know I can get through it no matter what happens, I’ve been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens.”
