Lady Gaga has broken her silence on rumours that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend.
The Joanne singer, 38, had been papped at her sister Natali Germanotta’s wedding last weekend wearing a slew of gorgeous gowns together with her partner. However, some eagle-eyed fans believed they had spotted what looked to be a baby bump in some of the snaps, leading to rumours she was up the duff.
With rumours rife across social media, the singer – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – took to TikTok to set the record straight. In a hilarious post, the Grammy Award-winning artist shared her view on the speculation with a simple caption.

Directly taking on the speculation from fans and the media, Gaga wrote just nine words in the caption of the video as she prepped herself for a public appearance. She wrote: “Not pregnant – just down bad cryin’ at the gym,” in partial reference to a Taylor Swift song.

In the video, the singer is seen in the midst of getting ready for a show, with her hair slicked back under a a nude cap for a wig. She also sported some strong black eyeliner that perfectly complimented her bleached eyebrows.
Lip-syncing to a well-known TikTok audio doing the rounds, she mimed: “I don’t have to find an aesthetic, I am an aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s somebody out here right now who is going into Pinterest trying to type up all these adjectives to describe me.”
Had the pregnancy been real, it would have been Lady Gaga’s first child. She would have welcomed the baby into the world together with her current boyfriend and entrepreneur Michael Polansky.

Speculation first began on Monday (June 3) when photos emerged from Natali’s wedding, which saw the Germanottas celebrating her happy day. Lady Gaga was spotted in a number of dresses, but a particular tight-fit black minidress sent fans into a frenzy.
The black wide-neck, armless frock accentuated the star’s natural figure, but when caught from the side, the singer appeared to have the beginnings of a baby bump. She paired her look with a pair of pearl earrings and a pearl necklace, that perfectly balanced her platinum white hair.

She also styled the outfit out with a pair of classy black heels and a ring on her left hand. To add an extra pop of colour to her look, she sported a vibrant red lip and a dash of orange eye shadow.
Later on in the day at the ceremony itself, Gaga looked radiant as she made her way down to the wedding venue in a beautiful peach floor-length gown. Going all floral, she was seen holding a small bouquet of flowers that matched the floral pair of earrings she wore to the event.
To accessorise her look further, she wore a pair of laced gloves that stretched up to her shoulders to give a classy look. She continued to glow in the summer sun as she took the role of maid of honour for her sister’s vows.
