Lorraine Kelly was forced to apologise after she made a cheeky comment on air – with the Scottish presenter admitting she “forgot she was on telly.”
The TV favourite, 64, was back on screens on Wednesday (January 31) to host her self-titled ITV show. But things soon took a cheeky and “wrong” turn – causing Lorraine to issue an apology to viewers.
One of the hot topics on the show was Gwyneth Paltrow‘s infamous vaginal steaming. Chatting to Ross King in LA and Lucie Cave in the studio, Lorraine soon shared her thoughts.

“Ross, well I don’t know how to introduce this next lady. Gwyneth Paltrow, is letting us all know how she ‘distresses’ is that fair to say?” Lorraine mused.
She went on: “’I shudder to ask, knowing about the candles and the things she sticks up her noonie. She’s a strange one.”
Guest Lucie Cave burst out in laughter as Lorraine squirmed at the camera – realising what she had just said. She quipped: “Don’t steam your bits at home, it’s really not good for you.”
Later on, Lorraine confessed: “Sorry that took a wrong turn. Red-faced and struggling to speak she laughed: “I think I forgot I was on the telly!”
Gwyneth famously recommended vaginal steaming on her website Goop. She wrote: “You sit on what is essentially a mini-throne, and a combination of infrared and mugwort steam cleanses your uterus, et al.

It comes after Lorraine was unmasked as Owl on The Masked Singer last week. The moment left plenty of people stunned – with host Joel Dommet calling it “one of the best reveals on the show.”
After getting unmasked, Lorraine gushed: ‘I’ve loved being Owl. I’ve loved every single second, the show is so joyful.”
