MrBeast has revealed he’s hired investigators after his co-host decided to “permanently step away from all things” following accusations of “grooming”.
Ava Kris Tyson has been embroiled in grooming allegations involving a minor, which have been completely denied by both Tyson and the alleged victim.
Ava found herself facing massive online criticism after accusations surfaced of her alleged inappropriate behaviour with a minor when she was 20 years old.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.
Reports suggest she had spent multiple years “involved in public online discussions with the fan before they purportedly met in person once the teen turned 16”, reports Rolling Stone.
Now infamous for her longstanding association and friendship with MrBeast, otherwise known as Jimmy Donaldson, Tyson finds herself under scrutiny for allegedly sending indecent images to an enthusiast.
One piece of incriminating material indicated a Snapshot conversation where Tyson allegedly texted editor Lava with a selfie featuring the caption “Cumming for America”, according to the publication.
Tyson faced accusations by TikTok user Prism42 of “grooming” and dispatching the cited messages to Lava while he was just 13 and she was 20. Following these allegations, which are denied by Tyson and the so-called victim, Tyson confirmed her departure from the thriving YouTube channel.
After facing allegations she took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to address the situation. Tyson wrote: “I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent,” reports the Mirror US.
She went on to explain her decision to step back from the limelight, adding: “Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health.”
Tyson also firmly denied any wrongdoing in the same post, asserting: “I want to add, I never groomed anyone. The person who gets brought up in these accusations has vocally supported that they are false.”
Complex reports suggest that Lava and Tyson had been part of Discord servers and various group chats where Tyson allegedly shared edgy jokes and inappropriate messages. Following the circulation of a video accusing Ava of grooming Lava, the supposed victim directly addressed the allegations on social media.
Lava clarified their stance on X, debunking the accusations with a clear message: “These videos are massive lies and twisting the truth. Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes,” and urged others to take action: “Can you do me a favor and comment on these videos and tell them to stop spreading lies.
“This situation takes away from children who are actively being exploited every day online. I am not a victim of anything being claimed in these videos or at all.”
MrBeast has now said he’s hired investigators following the scandal and broke his silence on X on Wednesday morning. “Over the last few days, I’ve become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson’s behavior online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts,” he wrote.
“During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts. That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast.
“I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions. I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings.”
