One star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City left fans feeling sick after she confessed her own son is “bad in bed” – after catching him in the act.
Bravo reality star Mary Cosby was caught talking about her son Robert’s bedroom skills in some unseen footage from the show, admitting: “He’s always doing his own thing with his girlfriend. But I heard all this noise when I was going upstairs.
“I said, ‘Oh my gosh, please don’t make my son feel like he’s better than he is. Stop doing all that. Stop it! Tell him the truth’.” Clearing things up with chat show host Andy Cohen, Mary said: “Andy, I didn’t say he was bad in bed. I just told the wife or the girlfriend, ‘Stop pretending!’”

She went on to say: “I walked past their room and I hear all this noise, all this screaming, all this drama. Like, it’s not that serious – don’t give him a big head! It was like a yell, and I was like, ‘What’s wrong, are they okay?’ So I opened the door. I left, I was scarred. Don’t be faking it!”
Fan reaction to the viral clip on social media was wild, with one posting: “Angie literally moved further from Mary after they showed the clip!” While someone else said: “Okay when I clicked on this I was not expecting that.”
But it’s not the strangest thing Mary has ever admitted to. Her husband is her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby Jr. – and the provision came about in her grandmother’s will. They tied the knot more than 20 years ago so Mary could inherit her family’s Pentecostal megachurch and the fortune that came with it.
The topic, of course, came up in various episodes of RHOSLC, with Jen branding Mary a “grandpa-f****r” at a party. Meredith commented at the time: “When Jen said those words at the 1920s party I was cringing inside. I know what’s going through Mary’s head right now. She’s thinking, ‘That’s what they all think about me.’ And that’s 100% not true.”
Mary cleared things up: “He is not my blood at all […] That’s incest. I did marry him. I didn’t want to. That’s weird to me. But [my grandmother] really did want me to, so I obeyed her. I trusted every word.”
She explained: “She wanted me to take her place.” Mary was in her early 20s at the time, while her husband was in his 40s. He previously married her grandma Rosemary Redmon Cosby before her death in 1997.

Mary added: “Basically, Robert Sr. was 20 years younger than my grandmother. My grandmother felt like she robbed his youth. So she said, ‘If something ever happens, I want you to marry one of my girls, because I know that they will be loyal to you and treat you good like you treated me.'”
Though she and her husband haven’t been intimate in the “last few years”, they previously welcomed son Robert Jr. together.
