Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice breaks silence on career future with ‘breaking news’

Giovanni Pernice has shared ‘breaking news’ with his fans.

The Strictly Come Dancing star confirmed a reunion with one of his pals and former co-stars from the show. The 34 year old had a long stint as a professional dancer on the popular BBC One dance competition.

However, earlier this year, the BBC initiated an investigation following allegations made by his former celebrity dance partner, Amanda Abbington. Earlier this month after months of investigation, the BBC released its findings and confirmed the BBC had “upheld some, but not all” of Amanda’s complaints and issued her an apology.

A spokesperson for Giovanni responded in a written statement at the time: “We are pleased that this six-month review has not found any evidence of threatening or abusive behaviour by Giovanni. Giovanni is relieved that the overwhelming majority of allegations out to the BBC have not been upheld and looks forward to continuing his work on Dancing With The Stars in Italy this season.”

Now, seemingly moving past the scandal, Giovanni announced his new 2025 dancing tour Together Again with his close friend Anton Du Beke on Wednesday (October 9), reports the Manchester Evening News.

Posting a poster for the upcoming show on Instagram, the Italian dancer said: “Giovanni said in his post: ‘BREAKING NEWS! If you were wondering now is confirmed ! ! the double act is back on the road!”
