Trump claims Rob Reiner died after ‘causing anger’ through ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

US President Donald Trump has spoken out on the death of director Rob Reiner and his wife, claiming it was through him causing anger to others through a “mind crippling disease”.

Reiner and Michele were found dead inside their Los Angeles home on Sunday (December 14). The couple were reportedly found dead with stab wounds, and the LAPD have now launched a homicide investigation.

And now Donald Trump has launched into a shocking rant about the director’s death. He claimed that Reiner was paranoid, suffered from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and drove people crazy with his “raging obsession” for Trump.

Speaking on Truth Social, he said: “A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.

He added: “He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”

Reiner was a vocal critic of Trump. In 2017, he called Trump “mentally unfit” to run America and called him the “single most unqualified human being to ever assume the presidency.”

Rob and Michele married in 1989

A spokesperson for Reiner’s family said of the tragic double death: “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.”

LA Mayor Karen Bass said in a statement: “This is a devastating loss for our city and our country. He added: “Rob Reiner’s contributions reverberate throughout American culture and society, and he has improved countless lives through his creative work and advocacy fighting for social and economic justice.”

Reiner was a widely acclaimed film director who directed some of the most iconic movies of the 1980s and 1990s. His works include The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Stand By Me and This Is Spinal Tap.

He also had a successful acting career, having starred in movies like Sleepless In Seattle and The Wolf of Wall Street. He also appeared in shows such as New Girl and, recently, the hit show The Bear.

Reiner met photographer Michele while directing When Harry Met Sally. They married in 1989 and had three children, sons Jake and Nick and daughter Romy.
