Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly has shared unseen footage from her Bath wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, revealing her stunning gown and custom Smythson-designed stationery
Holly Ramsay has unveiled a previously unseen wedding snap – showcasing her stunning bridal gown.
The daughter of Gordon and Tana Ramsay exchanged vows with Adam Peaty at a lavish ceremony in Bath last month.
Yet the couple’s nuptials have been overshadowed by controversy and turmoil after Adam chose not to invite his parents Caroline and Mark to the celebration.
Instead, Holly and Adam declared their love before her family and the Beckhams, alongside numerous other celebrity attendees.
Revealing fresh images from her special day, Holly posted a clip of herself selecting bespoke stationery for the wedding, featuring invitations, menu cards and table arrangements, reports the Mirror.
Captioning the footage, she gushed: “Designing our wedding stationery with @smythson was a dream come true. From the engraved plate mark invites with gold bevelled edges to the dark green tissue lined envelopes, it all added the perfect touch to our weekend.”
Yet it was her wedding dress that truly captivated viewers in the video, as she struck poses amongst blooms and her invitations.
She also posted a photograph of herself snuggling with her newly-wed husband.
This follows claims from an insider that Adam had shared a photograph from the celebration on his private social media platform.
A source revealed to The Sun that a relative had been sent an image – which later featured in Vogue magazine – via their social media.
The photograph that was reportedly shared showed Adam and Holly posing with Gordon and Tana alongside the Beckhams. A source revealed their frustration at a photo that surfaced on a family member’s social media, showing Adam and his bride alongside Gordon and Tana, their son, and the Beckhams.
“This picture appeared on a family member’s socials, and it was galling. To see Adam and his bride in her ensemble would have been lovely but the photos showed them with Gordon and Tana, their son and the Beckhams,” they said.
The insider claimed that the image had been deliberately kept from Adam’s parents, Caroline and Mark Peaty. They expressed: “Just look at the Beckhams posing where Caroline and Mark should be. Gordon’s son is there too but not Adam’s.”
During the nuptials, Adam gave a speech in which he affirmed he would “always choose” his wife, Holly. A fallout between Adam and Caroline occurred weeks prior, resulting in her being barred from the wedding.
In the hours leading up to the big day, Adam’s aunt, Louise, sent him a blistering text message, which he didn’t receive as he had blocked his family. She wrote: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame. Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”
