The former Love Island winner is heading back into the villa for the third series of All Stars
This week saw the complete line-up for Love Island All Stars’ third series revealed, featuring former champion Millie Court amongst the star-studded cast.
The reality personality featured in Series 7 back in 2021, claiming victory alongside her former partner Liam Reardon, though the couple split just last year. Now 29, Millie admits she understands herself “a lot better” as she gears up for another shot at villa romance.
Her initial villa experience delivered reality television enthusiasts a moment frequently hailed as one of the programme’s greatest ever scenes. During the iconic talent show segment, Millie courageously performed a shaky version of Ed Sheeran’s Perfect on the keyboard before her fellow contestants.
Due to her nerves and limited rehearsal time, she stumbled several times and even let out a frustrated shriek halfway through whilst numerous co-Islanders – including close friend Chloe Burrows – tried to contain their giggles. Meanwhile, Liam watched in admiration, declaring he was “definitely in love.”
The scene became legendary and generated countless memes, with clips of Millie’s keyboard performance edited into different scenarios flooding social media feeds, reports OK!
Before her All Stars comeback, she sat down with the Daily Star’s Screen Time team and offered a sad update about her piano playing today. When questioned about how her current piano practice regime was going, she revealed: “Not well. It obviously didn’t go well the first time either. I hadn’t played piano since I was 10.”
She went on: “I think I made a comment or a joke on the season – I am actually Grade 2 piano – and they [producers] heard it and they were like ‘Right, that’s what you’re doing for the talent show.’
“I was like ‘Guys, I can’t actually play now’. So there has been no more playing piano. Hopefully they don’t make me do it again.”
The former champion described herself as “talentless” when questioned about whether there were any other abilities she could showcase should the talent show return.
“I am talentless. I don’t think I’ve got any other talents so I’m not really sure what I would do,” she admitted.
This year’s All Stars series will span six weeks rather than the usual five following the triumph of the most recent summer edition. Meanwhile, show boss Mike Spencer-Hayter hinted there would be a major twist ahead, with some international Islanders expected to enter the villa as bombshells.
