EXCLUSIVE: Millie Court has revealed former Love Island stars have tried to slide into her DMs, but she didn’t reply to their messages and would rather see them in the All Stars villa
Millie Court has admitted she’s ignored DMs from former Islanders who tried to slide into her DMs.
The 28-year-old won Love Island back in 2021 with ex Liam Reardon before splitting the following year. They got back together in 2023 before splitting again last year – reportedly as they were struggling to maintain a long distance relationship.
However, it’ll come as no surprise that former Islanders have decided to shoot their shot with the blonde bombshell. More than one star has tried to slide into her DMs, but Millie decided not to respond.
Asked if any villa alum had tried it on, she told Daily Star and other press: “Do you know what, I think there’s been a few that I have seen but I haven’t responded.
“I want it to just be a surprise in there. Like, I feel like connection is important. I might think you’re fit, but like, we might not get on, so I didn’t think there was any point in responding.
“Because I mean, if they are going on it [All Stars] then I’ll see you on that mate! Let’s wait. There’s no point in chatting on Instagram beforehand, like in person is so much better. So yeah, we’ll see.”
Asked how she’d feel if Love Island bosses sent Liam into the All Stars villa, she said: “Well obviously I’d be surprised. I don’t know who’s going on there, but I can’t speak for my future self and how I feel. I don’t know.”
Millie admitted that she “hesitant” to do the villa again but eventually came around to the idea as she’s in a “really good headspace”. Millie said: “Oh yeah, I definitely was hesitant to start with and it wasn’t an easy decision.
“It wasn’t a straight away ‘yes’, you know, it was something I definitely thought about for a while, but here I am. I obviously ended up saying ‘yeah’, and I feel like I’m in a really good headspace now to deal with what’s to come, deal with the drama, the excitement and like, I’ve had this experience once before, so I know of know what it’s going to be like. I’m probably a bit more prepared this time, so yeah, it’s gonna be fun.”
At the time of their split last year, a source close to the couple told The Sun: “Millie and Liam have tried so hard to make their relationship work. But unfortunately, the distance was just difficult and they have sadly ended their relationship for a second time.
“Obviously, they’ve worked things out before, so friends are hoping this might just be a blip as it’s all still very fresh. But right now they are spending time apart. Everyone who loves them hopes they can work it out.”
Liam lives up in Wales and Millie is based in Essex. They lived together briefly in Essex before they split up initially.
The pair even hosted their own podcast together, the Liam & Millie podcast, where they spoke about the “ups and downs of long-distance love”.
