Piers Morgan could make a living off trolling Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on social media – and in a way, he does.
The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter took to his official Twitter account today to rant about the royal couple after he retweeted an article People Magazine wrote about them.
The People article was featured on the front cover of its magazine this month and the headline read: “Meghan and Harry.
“How they changed the royal family forever.”
Followed by the sub-heading: “One year after their dramatic departure from palace life, the couple continue to shake up the monarchy.”

Along with People’s tweet of the front cover, the magazine wrote: “Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Changed the Royal Family Forever: ‘They Don’t Regret Their Move’.”
A furious Piers quote retweeted the magazine’s tweet and shared his view on the story.
He tweeted: “Oh pur-lease.
“They haven’t changed the Royal Family one iota – they’ve just exploited their royal titles in an unprecedentedly greedy, shameless way from their Californian mansion as the real royals quietly & stoically did their duty in the UK during the pandemic.”

Piers thoughts received a mixed reaction from his 7.7million followers in which only one thousand liked his bitter tweet.
One responded: “Yet you steadily tweet about them every other day. If you’re not that bothered then stop tweeting about them.
“You seem over obsessed. Get over yourself!”
A second lashed out: “I don’t blame them one little bit. They’ve had the sense to get out of this corrupt country. I’m sure most of us would if we had the means. Leave them alone.”
Some agreed with his views. One troll said: “They’ve made the family and the country very aware of opportunist actresses who declare undying love for the monarchy then as soon as they get commitment sell their story and cash in Harry has been made to look a right muppet by Meghan.”
Another tweeted: “Yes they have changed it, by devaluing it by letting a money grabbing, game hungry Z list into it!
“All they do now is make money and Harry has turned his back on the tremendous courses he once supported. Sold yourself Harry for a price, and one day you will pay for it!”
