Ex-Loose Women star Saira Khan hits out at 'fake friends' in lengthy Instagram rant

Ex-Loose Women star Saira Khan has cryptically hit out on Instagram, as she slammed “fake friends” and “fake opinions” in a lengthy post.

Khan took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the matter, where she posted a frankly honest message to her story.

In the post, Saira wrote: “I’ve been in so many fake environments over the years that I lost myself and started to become fake myself.

“I saw myself become someone I’m not to please others, to make money and to fit in. Fake friends, fake opinions, fake smiles. All led to one thing – deep unhappiness, self loathing, self hate and self disrespect,” wrote the Apprentice star.

She mentioned that since her 50th birthday she has been “working on herself”, learning to “eliminate toxicity” and “taking a step back”.

She added: “The weird thing is, when I stopped, took stock and evolved to become a better version of myself, I gave out the right energy to attract the right opportunities.

“Connecting with my feelings and spending more time with people who love me for who I really am and doing the things I really love,” she concluded.

“The things I have really grown to accept about myself is that I am passionate about life, I am loud, I do like to have a say, I am energetic. I am always looking to better my life experiences and I thrive on tough love.”

It comes after Saira quit ITV’s Loose Women, admitting she only “tolerated” some of her co-workers.

Appearing on the Instagram show Celebrity Skin, she admitted: “You make friends with some people, you tolerate some people and some people you just have to do a job with.”

She bluntly continued: “There are some I really don’t miss at all, I was just like ‘I have to tolerate you to do the job.’

Saira said that she remained “professional” when amongst the people that she didn’t like, although she “couldn’t pretend that everyone was going to be her best friend” because everyone “has different opinions”.

She has also unfollowed panellists Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams on the social media platform, however, the 51-year-old does still follow her ex-work mates Stacey Solomon and Judi Love, and remains friends with Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, Christine Lampard and Linda Robson.
