Grammy award-winning singer Lizzo sailed close to the wind as she almost risked an Instagram ban wearing a skin-tight bodysuit while advertising her new clothing range, Yitty.
The 33-year-old took to the social media site to share her excitement regarding her top, but as she gave details on how secure it was, she accidentally bared more flesh than she bargained for.
Parading her gorgeous curves in the red figure-hugging ensemble, Lizzo strutted her stuff towards the camera.
As her long brunette locks flowed behind her back, the musician said: “Rock it however you want. You can just…”
Lizzo then gave an excited jiggle and started to jump up and down in the bodysuit.
But as she continued to shake her stuff, the crotch area of the suit ended up lifting, which forced Lizzo to quickly pull it down.
Trying to compose herself, she chimed: “Oh my God, my coochie!”
Captioning the short clip, she penned: “THE TRUST I HAVE IN THIS @YITTY BODYSUIT CHILEEEE…”
Seeing her hilarious display, fans quickly rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts on her accidental nudity.
One person said: “Kitty almost came out baby, this looks great btw.”
Another penned: “Ahahaha your reaction at the end of this video tho hahahaha. I love it and I love u! Lol.”
A third said: “So much yessss, how do you slay and crack me up though.”
Meanwhile a fourth shared: “I’d wear that with a pair of nice baggy ripped jeans and a black bucket hat.”
Lizzo’s new clothing brand Yitty is a subsidiary of Kate Hudson’s athleisure company Fabletics, and it will carry sizes ranging from XS to 6X.
The brand will also be divided into three different categories called Nearly Naked (seamless), Mesh Me (mesh-based), and Major Label (traditional pieces).
Speaking about her experience with shapewear in the past, Lizzo said in a video interview: “As early as I started to learn to be ashamed of my body, I was in shapewear.
“I was in girdles, and I was binding my stomach and it would snap halfway through school, [and] like, cut into my skin. I take it off at the end of the day, and I’m bleeding, and [the undergarment] broke skin, and I’m like, I’m in seventh grade!”
She added: “I thought it was super normal to be that dissatisfied and that willing to hide my body.”
When Lizzo started to get into fashion she began to think of her body in a more creative and positive way and began to love her body.
