Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe has admitted that he may have had beef with some of his previous partners – resulting in him needing therapy.
The South African professional, paired with comedian Ellie Taylor this season, made the shock confession to Janette Manrara on It Takes Two during his first chat since being eliminated.
When Jojo was quizzed about the highlights of the show this year, he half-joked to Janette about “not needing therapy” and said: “The highlight of my series would be, Janette, not once have I had to reach out to my therapist this season.”

Janette replied to the shock comment with: “Always a good sign!”
Johannes and Ellie, 39, seem to have had a glorious friendship on and off screen and both have gushed about the other. Previous partners for Johannes have been Bake Off’s John Whaite, actress Caroline Quentin and former Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley.
Johannes, 35, went on to lavish praise on Ellie, telling her: “I loved every single moment with you, I really have.”
Finishing off the chat, he added: “The best part of my season was this woman!”
Fans of the show have delighted in watching Ellie and Johannes and their special friendship – especially when they visited a petting farm together and then performed a Bo Peel-inspired waltz.
Last Saturday they were in the dance-off with Fleur East and her partner Vito but were sadly sent home by the judges after Fleur’s Rumba was seen to be technically superior.
She said: “I’m alright, I just look back and I go all the stuff that we’ve done, I can’t believe I did 10 dances live on telly.”
Reflecting on her time in the competition, Ellie added: “I’ve told myself throughout my life that I can’t dance and to see that is just really nice!
“We’ve had so much fun. And to borrow an Anton-ism, let me tell you about you Johannes Radebe. You [Johannes] are as wonderful as everyone said you would be, and I’ve said you’re like human sunshine and you really really are.”
The remaining couples are Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima, Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, Hamza Yassa and Jowita Przystal and Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.
