Good Morning Britain star Martin Lewis issued an urgent warning for shoppers during the latest instalment of the ITV programme.
The financial guru sat alongside Susanna Reid as they presented fans with the top headlines of Wednesday (May 17), which included the news that £15m worth of Tesco Clubcard vouchers are set to expire on May 31.
He told ITV viewers: “On May 31, £15m of Tesco Clubcard vouchers go because they only last two years. So, go online or on the app and check whether you have any of these vouchers.

“It is worth noting, on June 14, currently you can trade a £5 voucher for £15 of rewards, from June it is going to double. Although, if you trade them in now, it is valid for a year.”

Helping shoppers make the most of their Clubcard, the 51-year-old shared one of his handy tricks.
“I have a trick for you to extend the life of your voucher,” he said.
“Go online, log in and spend say 50p on a restaurant voucher, if you spend a little bit of the voucher the rest of hit is reissued or another two years.”

Martin spent plenty of the episode sharing advice and information about rising energy bills and many viewers headed to Twitter to admit how helpful they found it.
One viewer wrote: “Martin Lewis is useful bloke. I’ve worked in finance for 30 years yet I still learn every time he’s on. This morning was the deadline for student loans. Also so many benefits for the low paid seem to be obfuscated. A cynical person would think deliberately.”

While others didn’t find the money chat as interesting, with one writing: “If this isn’t the most boring show broadcast with Martin Lewis droning on #GMB.”

A third echoed: “Not the Martin Lewis show again disguised as #GMB.”
