Eli, which first landed on Netflix back in 2019, tells the creepy story of a gravely ill 11-year-old boy who is believed to have an autoimmune condition after he becomes allergic to everything and is forced to live in a plastic tent.
In a final attempt to cure Eli, whose condition sees him confined to a hazmat suit, his parents take him for treatment at a secluded isolation facility.
At the unsettling mansion, Dr Isabella Horn promises to make the young boy better and begins a series of painful procedures.
While Eli is initially excited about finally being able to remove his “bubble suit” his time in the facility takes a sinister turn when the young boy begins witnessing a series of creepy paranormal activity.
He believes the mansion is haunted and starts to suspect Dr Horn has dark intentions but only his new friend Hayley, played by Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink, believes him.
The spooky horror’s dark storyline has left viewers praising its fear factor.
Taking to Twitter to give their verdicts on the movie, horror fans hailed it as “intense” and “mad crazy”.
