Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon has admitted there are “issues” going on behind the scenes ahead of her return.
The actress, best known for playing Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, appeared on Lorraine on Thursday (December 21). Loyal fans of the soap will remember when the blonde bombshell, played by Lucy Fallon, won over the hearts of the nation when she arrived in Weatherfield in 2015.
During her time on the cobbles, the actress tackled several emotional storylines including high school bullying and grooming in young girls. But in 2020, she said her goodbyes to the soap and quit.

However, Bethany Platt is coming back to the show and will appear on screens at the New Year. And it’ll no doubt cause a lot of drama.
Speaking about her comeback to the cobbles, Lorraine host Louise Minchin quizzed Lucy on her relationship with co-star and current Strictly champion Ellie Leach. Gushing over the champ, Lucy told the host how she was “so proud of her”.
She then revealed that pair even shared a dressing room when they were both on Corrie.However, things took an awkward turn when Louise asked: “Do you get to share a dressing room with someone else now?”
Lucy joked: “Currently, there is a bit of an issue going on at the moment.” Host Louise then squirmed and quipped: “Oh go on!” Lucy explained: “I’m on my own, but I don’t have my dressing room at the moment.
“I’ve not got a house yet, they’re still trying to find a place.” She then issued a plea to the staff on the soap and begged: “Caroline if you’re watching, get me a dressing room.”

In an interview with Daily Star and other press earlier this month, the soap star, 28, has teased that her character’s return to the show isn’t all smiles and rainbows. She told us: “She is basically being forced to come back.”
There is something that’s happened in London that has kind of forced her to come back but she’s not revealing that straight away. She’s being a bit secretive about why she has come back.”
