Love Island hunk Chris Taylor has issued a stern warning to the 2024 cast of the ITV2 reality show as a new batch of sexy singletons enter the villa to find love.
On Monday night (June 3) a whole new batch of hopeful romantics put their hearts on the line to find the man or woman of their dreams. Telly babe Maya Jama is back at the helm as the show celebrates its 11th series on the airwaves.
And of course, it wouldn’t be the same without some familiar palm trees, blue skies, rolling green hills – and the famous Spanish villa. As the series kicks off with a bang, Daily Star has exclusively sat down with All Stars hunk Chris as he shares some pearls of wisdom for the new residents.

It’s fair to say the Barbie star didn’t hold back as he warned the unlucky-in-love singles to keep their eyes peeled for “game players” on the show. When asked what advice he would give to this year’s contestants, he joked: “Definitely don’t be yourself, that’s the last thing you want to do.”

Taking things seriously, he added: “I think you have to bear in mind when you’re on that show that there is going to be some people in there playing the game. There is going to be some people in there that actually have relationships on the outside and they’re there for different reasons to what you might be if you’re genuinely looking for something.”
He went on to add that when it comes to conflict, Islanders should try and remain true to themselves and behave the way they would outside of the villa. Chris went on: “So just basically make sure that the way that you feel with things in there is the way that you deal with them on the outside.
“Because if certain things get shown in a certain light, which they often do because obviously it’s very cut down, at least that way you’ve reacted the way you would in real life. And you can be happy in yourself that that was you and not in a way that you wouldn’t deal with it normally.

“Because then if you get a bit of heat for it on the outside you can be like, ‘Look, I’m just doing what I normally do’.” The reality star went on to add that contestants should look after themselves first and then build relationships when they are comfortable.
“There will always be people in there playing games and there will be people in there that aren’t genuinely in there for the right reasons,” he added.
“So just bear that in mind, keep an eye out for any signs of that because that is how you get hurt.” He finally added that despite the drama that inevitably happens in the villa, contestants should remember to have a good time and enjoy the process.
Chris joked: “So protect oneself but also make a bloody good TV show because we’re all watching it and I’ve got to talk about it five times a week so give me some fuel.”

Despite the star returning to the Love Island panel, he disappointed viewers when he confessed that he won’t be returning to the villa as a contestant any time soon. Following the announcement that Love Island All Stars will be returning in 2025, the TV hunk insisted that he won’t be back – and has already turned down ITV bosses.
He told us: “I’m up for stuff but I don’t know if I could do another Love Island, I don’t think I’ve got that range left in me. Chris went on to reveal that after he came out of the villa, he had discussions with ITV bosses about another comeback.
The comic went on: “I actually had a meeting with a couple of the execs at ITV when I’d finished the season [All Stars]. And one of the big dogs said to me, ‘It looks like we’re gonna get a season two, we’re just making sure it’s gonna get a recommission on All Stars’.
“And then he went and wiggled his eyebrows at me. And I went, ‘There’s no f***ing way I’m doing it again brother, there’s no way.’”
