Emmerdale fans are on tenterhooks, fearing that Nate Robinson could meet an explosive end in an upcoming barn blaze. The ITV soap is set to take a dramatic turn as Moira Dingle’s erratic behaviour leads to a potentially deadly fire at her farm.
The drama begins when Moira attempts to kiss Nate Robinson (played by Jurell Carter), leading to a situation that quickly escalates, much to the delight of Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
Given their past affair, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) suspects his wife Moira (Natalie J Robb) and son Nate have reignited their romance and demands answers.
However, he soon resorts to violence, attacking his own son. This sparks memories for Moira, who is left reeling from the events.
In a state of shock and stress, she slaps Cain, causing him to storm off. Shortly after, Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) arrives at the barn to gloat, but her attitude changes when Moira doesn’t respond to her taunts, reports the Express.
Moira then starts to spill tractor fuel in the barn, hearing Ruby’s voice merge with that of her old enemy Emma Barton, whom Moira killed back in 2017.
Overwhelmed, Moira locks the barn, seeing Emma instead of Ruby. The situation takes a dangerous turn when Moira fires a warning shot into the air, scaring Ruby. The bullet hits a light bulb, causing a spark that could ignite the fuel.
Moira hits Ruby over the head in a shotgun scrap leaving her woozy and dazed. As the barn blazes around Moira, who’s bewildered next to the unconscious Ruby, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) spots the smoke and tries frantically to ping Moira a message.
Mack’s call sends Cain, Caleb Milligan (William Ash) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) racing to the fire. Arriving at the scene, Mack and John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) share a tense stare before plunging into the inferno. The barn’s about to explode can any of them make it out alive?
Soap fans have taken to social media like wildfire with their bets on who’ll bite the dust in this sizzlin’ story, with Nate Robinson topping the death pool.
On platform X, Emmerdale devotees have been buzzing: “Why do I have a bad feeling that Nate is going to die in this fire? #Emmerdale.”
One fan speculates, “Sadly I think it’s Nate but i keep going backwards and forwards over this! #Emmerdale”, and another chimes in, “Fully thinking Nate is going to die now he’s back with Tracy and she’ll end up pregnant again #Emmerdale.”
Adding to the chorus, someone else quips, “Tracy and Nate back together, planning a new life in Shetland Islands….. oh he’s definitely dying in next week’s barn fire #Emmerdale”.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
