P Diddy’s mum Janice Smalls Combs has spoken out about his recent scandal.
She defending him against the sex trafficking and sexual abuse allegations, and expressed her sorrow as a mother, stating that she is “saddened” by the accusations her son faces. Janice described her feelings about the situation, saying it’s “heartbreaking” to see what Combs is enduring.

In her words: “I come to you today as a mother that is devastated and profoundly saddened by the allegations made against my son, Sean Combs.”
She continued to express her distress over the public perception of her son, adding: “It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies.”

“To bear witness to what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have this day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence.”
Acknowledging past mistakes, Janice referred to an incident caught on camera in 2016, which was reported by CNN, where Combs seemed to assault his then-girlfriend Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel.

She clarified: “Not being entirely straightforward about one issue does not mean my son is guilty of the repulsive allegations and the grave charges levelled against him.” Comb was arrested back in September on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Diddy “categorically denies” the allegations made against him, and he is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn until his trial.

Last week, Combs’ brief, Erica Wolff, finally piped up to slam the ‘meritless allegation’, insisting that her client ’emphatically and categorically denies’ the claims. She told the press: “As Mr Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”

Speaking to TMZ, she went on: “That said, Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
