Coronation Street star, Catherine Tyldsley has said she is “absolutely heartbroken” after being forced to withdraw from the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour due to an injury.
The former Coronation Street actress confirmed the news on her Instagram page yesterday in a lengthy post.
Catherine, who competed in the show last year alongside Strictly professional Johannes Radebe said that “devastated was an understatement” when she discovered she was no longer able to perform on the tour.
She went on to say that her time on the tour was a “complete joy” and that it was a “magical show”.
Addressing her 599,000 Instagram followers – the brunette babe said: “I’m absolutely heartbroken to let you all know that I’ve had to finish my time on the @strictlycomedancinglive tour earlier than expected.

“Unfortunately I’ve sustained an injury which means I’ll be unable to dance for a while. My experience of the tour has been a complete joy. Each audience has been so full of love for SCD.
“My fellow dancers are all phenomenal and I’m so grateful to have experienced such a magical show.”
Catherine went on to say: “Devastated is an understatement. Wishing my #Strictly family the best time with the rest of the tour. If you get chance to watch it – GO! It’s unbelievably magical.”

Fans instantly flooded the comment section, with one saying: “So sad for you – get better soon and call in to see us for some reflexology.”
While a second went on to comment: “So so gutted for you!! You were amazing. Sending you all the love.”
A third added: “Awh so sad for you I loved watching you and Johannes in Manchester you were amazing, you all were. Hope you get over your injury.”
Her Strictly ace, Johannes Radebe commented: “Babe it defo wasn’t our last dance!”
