Barbara Knox has gone down in history as one of Coronation Street’s most legendary cast members.
First appearing on the show in 1964, the Rita Sullivan star is a fan favourite with Corrie super-fans both young and old.
In an unearthed throwback shot from the early days of Coronation Street, the 86-year-old beauty can be seen lounging by a pool with her Corrie co-stars.
Dating back to 1974, the colourful holiday snapshot showed the eight actresses dipping their toes in the blue water, with cocktails in their hands.
Wearing a black cut-out swimsuit with spaghetti-string straps, Rita looked breathtaking in the sunny poolside shot.
Her auburn locks were styled in the same signature curls, permed closely to her head.
A Corrie fan shared the snap over Twitter, saying: “Bit in love with this pic of the old Corrie ladies.”
In the comments below, soap fans were immediately smitten Barbara, making it clear her radiant good looks have stood the test of time.

Along the top row, the familiar faces in the crowd include Betty Williams (Betty Driver), Annie Walker (Doris Speed), Hilda Ogden (Jean Alexander).
On the bottom, Bet Lynch (Julie Goodyear), Emily Bishop (Eileen Derbyshire), Deirdre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride), Mavis Wilton (Thelma Barlow), and Rita (Barbara Knox) are pictured.
Filmed more than 40 years ago, the episode saw the Weatherfield ladies take a group trip to Majorca after Bet won a holiday in a competition.
Mavis raised eyebrows in the retro scenes when she embarked on a saucy fling with a Spanish electrician named Pedro.
Coronation Street airs tonight on ITV at 7:30pm and 8:30pm
