GMB Piers Morgan raging after embarrassing spelling blunder leaves him red-faced

Good Morning Britain’sPiers Morgan was left enraged after an embarrassing blunder happened live on air.

Piers, 54, was chatting to Susanna Reid and Andi Peters about the BAFTAs.

Andi displayed an array of spoof films with the anchor’s face included in different movies.

Morgan was given Fifty Shades Of Grey, with the poster showing the former Britain’s Got Talent judge holding a tie around his fist. Piers’ face was edited onto Christian Grey’s body, much to the amusement of the Good Morning Britain studio.

However, things turned awkward when Piers realised the designer of the film poster made a spelling error.

It read “Fifty Shades of Peirs” with his name spelt incorrectly in an embarrassing blunder.

After he noticed the unintentional mistake, Piers became enraged and said: “Whoever did that graphic behind you, and spelt my name wrong is going to be fired… my name is not spelt like that.”

Susanna remarked: “Uh oh… do they not remember… I before E except after C.”

Piers replied: “Do they not remember, you get Piers’ name wrong, you get fired. That old mantra.”

Susanna said in an attempt to make the graphic designer feel better: “Don’t worry, I’ll come back you at HR.”

On another poster, Susanna was shown holding the book “Fifty Shades of Peirs” with her spoof being a take on “Legally Blonds” with this poster also including the spelling blunder on Piers’ name.

Fans flocked to Twitter, baffled that Good Morning Britain made such a mistake.

One said: “How can Good Morning Britain get Piers Morgan’s name wrong?”

A second tweeted: “Lol GMB getting Piers Morgan’s name wrong. Blatantly on purpose.”

While another wrote: “Piers Morgan they have managed to spell your name wrong on the film screen!”

“Piers Morgan you should do a Greta/Sharon and change your Twitter name to Peirs…” joked a fourth.
