Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson spoke out in a tell-all interview, blaming fame for “stealing her innocence”.
The 29-year-old rocketed to stardom alongside her fellow bandmates: Jade Thirlwall, Leigh Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards after taking centre stage on Simon Cowell’s X Factor.
Although the girl group did not win, they were skyrocketed into the showbiz world in 2011 when they were all either 20 years old or only in their late teens.
The Odd One Out star, who faced her demons when it came to image last year in the groundbreaking documentary, implied that she simply wasn’t prepared for a lifestyle that included online abuse.

Trolling has affected her mental health so much, that she has now become fearful of having children as she wouldn’t want them to go through similar experiences with trolls.
Jesy, who was absent from the band’s reality show Little Mix: The Search on Saturday night, told the Mail On Sunday’s You magazine, “It makes me not want to have a kid.”
Explaining her feelings on the matter, she revealed: “Those insecurities that we all have now because of social media, imagine having that embedded in you as a child?”

The Shout Out To My Ex hitmaker tried to offer a warning to those set on breaking into the music industry that it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
She continued: “Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to sit here and say we’ve got a terrible life, because we haven’t, but I do think our innocence was taken from us.”
Last year, Jesy documented on BBC her own mental health struggles after joining the girlband and even admitted to having suicidal thoughts when things got really bad.

At the time, she hated the way that she looked and always felt her appearance was being compared to that of the other girls in the group.
With the support of her family and friends, the star managed to move on from nasty comments that sabotaged her adolescence.
