Piers Morgan left red-faced as he circulates fake CNN Pornhub gaffe online

Piers Morgan caused a meltdown on Twitter today by sharing a cheeky video.

The Good Morning Britain star shared a clip with his 7.6million followers which appeared to show CNN accidentally having Pornhub open.

Not realising it was fake, Piers shared amongst his followers as he wrote: “OMG.”

The tweet instantly began going viral, as it racked up thousands of retweets and likes.

One fan replied: “Hello from Spain, this made me spit my coffee out! Hysterical.”

While another added: “Honestly. Who the f**k loads up PornHub at work? Let alone a journalist whose screen could be televised.”

A third joked: “To be fair, they’ve been stuck in there for days.”

Many pointed out to Piers that the footage wasn’t real though.

One told him: “Come on Piers, it’s not even tracked correctly lol, it’s all over the shop. Funny though.”

Another told him: “That’s Photoshopped Piers.”

As a third said: “It wasn’t real.”

Piers later had to admit his mistake as he wrote: “Apparently this is a fake. Still bloody funny though.”

One fan replied: “I can’t believe how many fell for this.”

While another added: “It was always an obvious fake.”

Piers also hit headlines today by having a cheeky dig at GMB co-star Ben Shephard.

Piers poked fun at his colleague Ben, suggesting his seat had been adjusted to match with the Tipping Point star’s height.

He quipped: “That’s not right. They’re putting me on Ben Shephard height.”

Piers then suggested Ben was too short to “swagger” successfully, insisting only tall people were capable of a strong swagger.
