Geri Horner has shared her heartbreak after the sad news her beloved pet pooch had passed away.
The singer revealed the emotional news on her Instagram page, admitting that the Pomeranian had helped her through times of loneliness.
Animal lover Geri, 48, also lost her dog, Hugo, just four months ago.
The Spice Girls superstar said that Daddy, 18, had now gone to “doggy heaven” in a heartfelt post alongside a collection of pictures of her beloved dog.
Geri had reared Daddy from a puppy, admitting he had been her “little baby” before the birth of her first child, Bluebell, in 2006.

She penned: “Goodbye to my special little friend, Daddy the dog. He kept me company when I was lonely. He was my little baby before I had Bluebell.
“After eighteen years he has gone to doggy heaven. Rest in peace, We love you.”
The snaps saw Daddy enjoying a bath in Geri’s kitchen sink after a muddy walk, while another showed him being cuddled by Geri’s husband, F1 team principal Christian Horner.

Fans instantly flocked to the comment section to offer their condolences to the Horner family, with one commenting: “Oh I’m so sorry. They really are part of the family aren’t they.”
A second added: “Oh no!!! Daddy was the sweetest, I remember when I met him in 2004. RIP sweetie.”
“Oh Geri, I’m so sorry to hear. Thinking of you lovely” penned a third.

While a fourth went on to say: “Aw Geri, Lots of loves and hugs for you and the family. Daddy was a lucky dog to have you as a mum.”
The news comes just one day after the Wannabe hitmaker took to Twitter to plead with fans to support wildlife charity WWF.
Throughout the lockdown periods, Geri has kept fans entertained on social media with her Rainbow Woman episode and the latest instalment saw the singer deliver Christmas gifts to NHS workers on the coronavirus frontline.
The episode which was filmed in December before London entered Tier 4 saw Geri hand out gifts to staff at Whittington Hospital.
She said: “Today’s not about me. It’s about some amazing people that deserve appreciation, kindness and love, and we’re going to go and share it with them.”
“For this moment, it puts it all into perspective. They go above and beyond every day, they just do. So today is about acknowledging that.”
