Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins fans were delighted to see Lauren Steadman and Locksmith nab the top spot tonight, winning the series.
Under Ant Middleton’s guidance, 12 celebrities rallied together to take on the toughest endurance test of their lives, braving harsh weather and physical challenges.
Over a grim seven-day period, the stars were forced to pass the SAS Selection test under Middleton’s thumb – with lots of tears shed.
Bringing the series to an end, tonight’s episode saw athlete Lauren and Rudimental DJ Locksmith knock the competition out of the park, reigning triumphant.
Branding the twosome as “absolutely outstanding,” Ant Middleton announced: “You have both successfully passed this course.”
The other finalists competing included TOWIE’s Joey Essex, Countryfile star Helen Skelton, boxer Tony Bellew and Hollyoaks’ Nikki Sanderson.
The final five defeated six other celebs – Blue Peter’s Anthea Turner, Katie Price, Strictly’s Brendan Cole, BBC Radio star Yasmin Evans, footie star John Fashanu and DJ Jack Maynard.
Tonight’s finale saw the contestants brave the “interrogation” stage of the test, tortured with haunting sounds of babies screaming and chainsaws roaring.
On top of that, the courageous fivesome was yelled at and hit in the stomach, as Ant Middleton and his cronies – Mark Billingham, Ollie Ollerton, Jay Morton, and Jason Fox – put them through the wringer.

Speaking about the experience, Paralympian Lauren told Metro: “I live in the middle of Portsmouth city and someone set off fireworks and it was only about 10pm but because I was so tired and exhausted, as I had done when they’d thrown the flares I shot out of bed, I looked around and told myself, ‘It’s ok. You are in your bed, you’re still in Portsmouth, no one’s here, your housemate’s there, it’s fine.'”
Soap star Nikki agreed, telling the publication: “About two or three nights after we got home and in the middle of the night [her partner] Greg switched the sidelight on randomly at about 3am.

“I went nuts! I literally went running out and he was going, ‘What you doing?'”
DJ Locksmith also struggled to get some shuteye after filming wrapped, as he revealed: “I couldn’t sleep. Any noise I could hear just had me up, I was alert straight away. That was the most frustrating thing.”
