Charlotte Crosby denies flouting lockdown rules as she reunites with her parents

Charlotte Crosby has denied breaking lockdown rules again by travelling to her parents’ house to celebrate her 30th birthday.

The reality TV star came under fire from fans recently after reportedly flouting the guidelines earlier this month to move in with her new man Liam Beaumont.

But it seems that Charlotte has done it again by travelling from the home she was sharing with Liam to go back to her parents for her birthday party.

A spokeswoman for Charlotte told Mirror Online that the former Celebrity Big Brother winner has acted strictly within the parameters of the rules surrounding lockdown.

It comes after The Sun reported that the former Gordie Shore babe began lockdown with her mum before moving to her boyfriend’s house.

Now she is reportedly back with her mum, another breach of the strict lockdown rules designed to keep people safe during the pandemic that killed tens of thousands people in Britain.

Pictures shared on social media show Charlotte and Liam celebrating her birthday party in her mum Letitia’s luxury home.

People in the UK are prevented from seeing their relatives properly and can only meet one other people from a different household at a time proving social distancing guidelines are following and the meeting is outdoors.

The UK government officially enforced lockdown on March 23, with couples living apart warned at the time to move in together then or face months apart.

Lockdown rules state that people should not move between different houses, or spend time with people outside of those they live with through fear of spreading deadly coronavirus.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson explicitly said in March: “You should not be meeting friends. If your friends ask you to meet, you should say no.

“You should not be meeting family members who do not live in your home.”

Charlotte turned 30 on Saturday and flooded her I nstagram Stories with snaps and videos from the party at her mum Letitia’s home, as she celebrated with her family and Liam.

The reality star, who fronts the MTV show Lockdown Laughs with Charlotte Crosby amid the pandemic, recently described her perfect man as she confirmed she’s no longer on the market.

As she answered questions from her fans on Instagram, Charlotte confirmed she’s coupled up and that her next holiday will be to Bali, hopefully with “a certain someone” by her side.

When asked to describe her perfect man, she confessed: “Well obviously tall, dark and handsome is always a great place to start. But I would say, maturity and tanned.”

Liam kept their romance alive while they were separated by sending her gifts and flowers.

She told us: “I am seeing someone at the moment, it’s early days so being forcibly isolated from him isn’t exactly ideal… but you know what they say absence makes the heart grow fonder, or whatever the saying is.

“He’s been sending me little gifts through the post which is super sweet. It’s like going back to the old days where guys would have to woo a girl in more creative ways.”

Charlotte split from ex-boyfriend Josh Ritchie last year after a whirlwind 18-month romance.
