Kym Marsh has pulled out of her new The One Show presenting duties amid fears she has contracted coronavirus.
The Coronation Street actress was set to fill in for Matt Baker, who is currently self-isolating at home after displaying symptoms earlier this week.
However, Kym has now told the show execs she can no longer fulfil the role because she believes she’s also come down with symptoms.
She explained that due to her sickness, she feels it’s “irresponsible” of her to travel into the studio.

“I had to cancel some work,” she told OK! Magazine.
“I was supposed to co-host The One Show, but it would have been very irresponsible of me to travel there even if I had been feeling well enough.”
She was set to make her One Show debut later on this evening alongside long-time host Alex Jones.
And with the coronavirus continuing to worsen, her next acting gig could also be postponed.
The former Corrie star explained she’s heading to the West End for a run of dates in Dolly Parton Musical, 9 To 5.
Speaking to the publication, she confirmed: “I can exclusively reveal that I’m joining the cast of 9 to 5: The Musical later this year, in the role played by Louise Redknapp – Violet Newstead.
“I went to see Amber Davies in it last year and absolutely loved the show. It’s got a great energy and is all about empowering women, which is a really important message to send out.”

Kym isn’t the first celebrity to be self-isolating.
Earlier this week, Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid explained she won’t be hosting the daytime ITV programme because her son has a cough and she’s decided to self-isolate.
While she had no symptoms of the virus, the mum-of-two didn’t want to potentially spread the virus to her co-workers and members of the public.
