Holly Willoughby was left gobsmacked by the size of former Coronation Street star Nigel Havers’ home bar during This Morning yesterday.
The blonde beauty, 39, was back on our screens on Tuesday to present an addition of the ITV daytime show alongside co-star Phillip Schofield.
Phillip and Holly chatted to the actor about his latest project before conversation quickly turned to his luxury home.
Talking to Nigel via a video link, Phillip said: “Holly and I were getting ourselves ready the other morning and we’re always watching Good Morning Britain and you were on as a guest.
“We thought you were maybe in the most amazingly beautiful hotel or a gentleman hotel or something with beautiful paintings on the wall or a drinks trolly. Is that your house?
Speaking live from his garden, Nigel replied “Yes. That is where I live with my wife and my dog Charle.”
Holly gasped: “I am so impressed by your bar. You have the best bar.
The former Corrie star responded: ” Is it a bar? It’s a table with a load of drink of it.”
“It’s a bar. It will do,” Holly joked.
Nigel Havers gave Good Morning Britain viewers across the nation some serious house envy with a look inside his fancy living room last week.
The actor appeared alongside Amanda Barrie and comedian Konstantin Kisin to chat to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid about the growing concern of the future of Britain’s theatres.
The 66-year-old star instead distracted viewers who were dying to snoop around his grand looping home.
With the walls covered in oil paintings, the living room was lit with red lampshades, and a fully-stocked bar was situated in the corner behind him.
Nigel appeared on the screen wearing a suit jacket and black roll neck to discuss his worries for the future of the arts, urging the government to step in before the entire industry collapses.
Stating that theatres can’t reopen as long as the social distancing rules are in place, Nigel declared: ‘It’s very bad. It’s expensive to be dark – a theatre shut costs a lot of money.”
But while the discussion continued, viewers just couldn’t quite get over the fancy decor, and shared their desire to go snooping online
One ITV viewer penned: “It’s always cocktail o’clock at Nigel Havers’ pad.”
Another added: “Nigel Havers knocking it out of the park with the best video call background.”
A third said: “Wow Nigel Havers’ house is amazing.”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
