Kate Garraway suffered an embarrassing blunder on today’s Good Morning Britain, which led to her begging Jacqui Smith to not “storm out”
When introducing the former Home Secretary, Kate, 52 said: “”Introducing former lame Home Secretary…”
She quickly corrected herself, realising her mistake: “Erm Labour, not lame Home Secretary, not lame Home Secretary at all.”
Her co-host Adil Ray joked: “I wouldn’t do that of an opener with Jacqui…”
Jacqui then jokingly said: “I’m off!”
Withe Kate begging her to stay saying: “For the love of god don’t storm out.”
Kate was cheekily referring to a time Iain Dale, who was there for the debate, did storm out of the GMB studio.
He previously stormed out of the studio during a debate over Jonty Bravery – the man who pushed a young boy from the Tate Modern last year.
During the debate, Dale attempted to give his opinion, but he was talked over frequently.
He eventually said: ““Fine! I won’t speak” before storming out of the studio.

Ben Shephard was mysteriously missing from today’s GMB, and fans were baffled as the host usually presents the show on a Friday.
One said: “Wait… Where is Ben today?! I didn’t sign up to not see him. Outrageous!”
While another wrote: “Where’s Ben Shephard?”
A third said: “Where is Ben Shephard? This has ruined my Friday morning.”

One fan wasn’t happy to see Adil presenting instead of Ben, saying: “Oh Christ, he is back on again. “
While another wrote: “Not Adil Ray again??”
However, others loved Adil and Kate hosting together, with one gushing: “My day has officially began…with laughter, as always, brilliant,” with a laughing face emoji.
Good Morning Britain continues on Monday at 6am on ITV
