Actress Halle Berry revealed she ended up in a spot of bother during a racy scene in James Bond – and co-star Pierce Bronson rushed to her aide.
The Hollywood A-lister starred alongside the actor in his last outing as the 007 agent in Die Another Day.
Recalling the incident during a recent interview, Halle explained she choked on a fig, and Pierce quickly performed the Heimlich Manoeuvre on her in order to dislodge the fruit.
Chatting to US talk show host Jimmy Fallon, the beauty explained: “I was supposed to be all sexy, trying to seduce him with a fig, and then I end up choking on it and he had to get up and do the Heimlich.

“James Bond knows how to Heimlich!
“He was there for me, he will always be one of my favourite people in the whole world.”
Fallon jokingly added that you’d never see James Bond perform the Heimlich in a movie.

Halle portrays NSA agent Jinx Johnson Jinx in the 2002 blockbuster which sees James Bond discover the connection between a Korean terrorist and a diamond baron.
Elsewhere in the interview, which was conducted via video chat, the actress opened up about life in lockdown with her two children.
She admitted that while her eldest child, Nahla, 12, is adjusting well to life indoors, her son Maceo, six, isn’t faring quite so well.

“He’s like a madman right now,” she said, “He’s bouncing off the walls, he just doesn’t know what’s happening. It’s really hard for him.”
However, the John Wick star explained she has found nifty ways of keeping him occupied.
“I even use my son as workout equipment when we’re goofing around. I’ll sit in a chair and he’ll lay across my feet, and I’ll do a few sets of leg extensions.”
