Joan Collins has celebrated another birthday, turning 87 on Saturday, however this year’s was different as she is in lockdown like much of the world.
Despite the quieter celebrations, the Hollywood actress still took to her Instagram account to share a photo of herself with a birthday cake.
She marked the occasion with a small cake with a single candle on, as well as a plaque of chocolate which read “happy birthday” in elaborate icing.
Joan smiled widely as her husband Percy Gibson, who she married back in 2002 and is 32 years younger than her, stood behind her grinning towards the camera too.

She kept her deep brunette locks away from her face, though a few strands fell down and added to her effortlessly glamorous look.
Wearing a simple white top in the snap, Joan accessorised with a statement necklace.
The ageless beauty captioned the shot: “It wasn’t just a happy birthday it was a sensational one – I’m still reeling from the brilliant surprises.”

The American Horror Story: Apocalypse star turned 87 this weekend, but fans couldn’t get over just how good she looked.
One wrote: “I ain’t ever seen nobody like you Joan.”
Another one of Joan’s 200,000 Instagram followers commented: “Happy birthday! Absolutely love you! You look amazing for your age!”
A third person said: “Happy birthday just beautiful, love seeing you on here.”
Someone else commented: “You look divine! Best wishes for you and happy birthday.”
While a fifth added: “Happy birthday. Looking amazing and happy.”
Meanwhile speaking underneath a Twitter post about Joan’s birthday, one person wrote: “She looks exactly the same as when I used to watch her as a kid on Dynasty during ABC prime time. Those were the cathode-ray days.”
