Good Morning Britain fans have flooded social media with supportive messages for Kate Garraway as she prepares for her first Thursday evening without the weekly clap for carers event.
The nationwide event is being wound down more than two months after Brits started taking to their doorsteps on Thursday evenings to thank everyone working on the coronavirus frontline.
The 53-year-old television presenter burst into tears last week amid fears it would be the last one.
Kate has previously credited the nationwide event with lifting her spirits while her husband Derek Draper, 52, battles coronavirus in hospital.
GMB fans have rushed to their keyboards to send Kate and her family some messages of support ahead of their first night without the Clap for Carers event.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Kate Garraway won’t be out tonight but still thinking about your family and all other families waiting for loved ones to come home.”
A second penned: “Why does the clap for carers have to stop when it gives strength to so many people, and a focus for people who aren’t sticking to the rules!
“My love and prayers every day for Kate Garraway, her husband and family .”
Another added: “Kate Garraway please be reassured that even if the Thursday clap does not happen that many many people care for you and your family and are thinking of you.
“I for one think about you very frequently and look to read and listen to your various updates, take care x.”

Former I’m a Celebrity contestant Kate has previously spoken about how the weekly event helped her remain positive as she headed out onto the streets to bang pots and pans with her daughter Darcy, 13 and son Billy, ten.
Last week, the mum of two admitted she cried during the clap when she thought about how it was the last one.
In a post on Instagram, Kate wrote: “I must admit I felt the tears come tonight to think it’s coming to an end while our fear for Derek goes on.
“But even if we don’t clap next Thursday it won’t diminish my eternal thanks to all in the #nhs.

“They are keeping Derek alive & everyone of them is fighting as hard as Derek is to give us the chance to be reunited.
“Hope has to keep us all going doesn’t it ? I am having to find new ways of staying strong everyday for Darcey & Billy , as I know Derek would want me to.
“It’s not easy but when I think of how hard Derek is fighting & the bravery of all in the #nhs it helps.”
Derek, who married Kate in 2005, was taken to hospital on March 30, where he tested positive for coronavirus.
Covid-19 has so far claimed the lives of more than 39,000 people across the UK.
