Oasis legend Liam Gallagher has revealed the real reason he cancelled his 2020 wedding plans to Debbie Gwyther, insisting the fancy ceremony will still take place next year
Oasis legend Liam Gallagher has opened up about the real reason he was forced to delay his wedding to Debbie Gwyther.
The British music icon had planned to jet to Italy this summer for an intimate celebration.
Speaking about putting his plans on ice, Liam said: “Nah that’s been put back now until next year, ‘cause I think we had to wear masks and that, and I’m not getting married with a mask on.

The decision comes just weeks after Noel Gallagher’s brother insisted the big day would go ahead despite the threat of coronavirus.
In March a fan of the singer tweeted him: “How’s the plans for the wedding? Hope that won’t be affected by it all too.”
Liam swiftly replied: “She ain’t getting off that lightly ha ha.”
And second concerned fan penned: “How’s the wedding planning going ?” to which Liam wrote back: “All good.”

Liam previously vowed he would invite his brother Noel to the wedding despite their decade long feud.
“I know for a fact he won’t come so I will put it through his door just to make him look bad,” he ranted.
“Then he’ll go, ‘But I didn’t get one’, but I’ll make sure I deliver it myself and I’ll be able to turn around and go – ‘See, he is a c**t’.
“I’m only doing this to shine a light on how much of a c**t he is.”
Over the past few months Liam has publicly called for Noel to drop their feud to no avail.
Speaking in October 2019 to Daily Star Online, the BRIT Award winner told Daily Star Online too many things had been said to ever reunite.
