Loose Women star Andrea McLean left viewers picking their jaws up off the floor during today’s show when she made an unexpected “fart” confession.
Discussing whether kindness was the sweetest form of revenge, Andrea recalled one incident in which she got her own back on an enemy.
The 50-year-old explained that many years ago, a guest in her home asked for cleaning equipment after using her bathroom.
Insulted by the request, Andrea explained that the guest was suggesting her bathroom was dirty.
She said: “I’m not talking mucky toilet, I’m talking she wanted to clean the whole toilet.”

Later that evening, Andrea revealed she got her revenge by farting on the guest’s pillow before they went to bed.
She said: “Before she went to bed that night I sat on her pillow and I farted on it. And then I just smoothed it over, had a little smile and went to bed. “
Bursting into laughter, she said: “It just really made me smile to think she’s lying there on that pillow.”
Her co-star Brenda Edwards was visibly shocked by the story, as she expressed concerns over getting on Andrea’s bad side in the future.

Andrea reassured her, saying: “I like you, Brenda, I wouldn’t do that.”
Over on Twitter, viewers were conflicted over the story – while some thought it was a hilarious way to get revenge, others branded the act as “appalling”.
One said: “Andrea, take the clean out of your name! That pillow story was shocking. #loosewomen.”

“I am shocked and appalled by Andrea’s confession,” added a third.
While a fourth griped: “Andrea’s farting on a pillow revenge is something a 10-year-old child would do.”
