Loose Women's Kaye suffers major make-up drama as Linda takes swipe at lipstick

Loose Women ‘s Kaye Adams had fans in stitches today when she revealed her panic when she realised she’d forgotten her make-up bag prior to filming for live TV.

The show was only on for half an hour today due to the racing but for Kaye, it appeared quite the stressful half an hour.

Half-way through today’s show, the 57-year-old took a second to have a laugh and tell the story of her stressful morning prior to the show being filmed live.

Turning to look at the camera, Kaye revealed she had forgotten her make-up bag and realised while on the train when she reached into her handbag to begin applying it while on her way to the ITV studios in London.

Revealing her horror, Kaye told the panel and viewers of her sheer panic at the discovery.

She then went on to reveal that she ran around the studio borrowing different bits of make-up from whoever she could.

Taking a playful swipe, her co-star Linda used it as a chance to have a playful bit of banter and made a dig that Kaye’s lipstick was “too dark”.

Taking it in her stride and agreeing, Kaye laughed as she nodded, laughed and agreed with Linda.

The panel erupted into laughter as Kaye continued explaining her choice of lipstick.

Viewers also took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the presenter’s make-up drama.

One tweeted: “Linda telling Kaye her lipstick is too dark. Shady #LooseWomen.”

Another took the time to compliment Kaye’s make-up, the fan wrote: “@kayeadams I was actually thinking that your makeup looked beautiful today! #LooseWomen.”

Another viewer replied to that tweet: “Yes! I thought she looked very fresh faced, nothing wrong with her lipstick either.”

The panel spent the show, which was only half-an-hour long today due to the racing, debating the migrant issue after a 16-year-old boy washed up on a French beach after drowning trying to reach UK.

It has led to Labour accusing the government of “lacking in compassion and competence” after Priti Patel blames death on “criminal gangs”.

Loose Women continues tomorrow at 12.30pm on ITV.
