Love Island winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey have welcomed their second child together, a little girl, after Cara was rushed into early labour.
On Saturday, the 30-year-old was rushed to hospital to be induced after she was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia.
And, according to The Sun, the now mum-of-two went into labour in the early hours of this morning (July 28) and give birth shortly after 5.45am.
A source told the publication: “Nathan and Cara couldn’t be more thrilled; her waters broke early this morning and not long after they had their little girl.”
Nathan announced the birth on Instagram in a video post, saying: “Hi guys, just to let everyone know that Cara delivered our beautiful baby daughter this morning, she did an absolutely fantastic job.

“I just want to say, Cara you are a hero. Really, really emotional this morning – everything is good, Cara’s doing great, the baby’s doing great.
“I just want to say one thing – us blokes could never in a million years go through what women do, so every woman that gives birth hats off to you because I don’t think us geezers have the pain threshold.

He went on to thank the staff and midwives at Darenth Valley Hospital.
Meanwhile, Cara’s reps said: “The Can Group are pleased to announced that Cara Delahoyde-Massey and her husband Nathan have given birth to a beautiful baby girl at Darenth Valley Hospital at 5:45am on July 28th, 2020.
“Mum and baby are both doing well, and the couple would like to thank the hospital for the amazing care, and a special thanks to their midwife Teresa.”
Cara and Nathan are already parents to their two-year-old son Freddie-George.
They met on Love Island in 2016 and went on to win the entire series, but they split up a year later.
Their break-up didn’t last though and they got back together before tying the knot in July 2019.
The couple confirmed their second pregnancy in March of this year.
