Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has taken to social media to share his fury at Victoria Beckham after reports she has decided to furlough 30 of her fashion staff amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Hearing the news, Piers Morgan took to social media to share a picture of the story on the Mail, writing: “SERIOUSLY????!” with a line of red angry emojis.
Piers’ post divided opinion, as some agreed with him, while others insisted that Victoria has the right to furlough staff if she wants.
One fan posted: “No shame some people.”
Another added: “The country is going to fall apart because of these kind of people.

But a third argued: “Why not she pays her taxes like everyone else??”
Another agreed: “Oh Piers, have you nothing better to do with your day, than get up to your old tricks with reporting rubbish.”
Victoria is said to have seen her fashion brand struggle in recent years and has recently issued letters to staff to let them know of plans to reduce salaries to 80 per cent in line with furlough procedures.

She is believed to not be taking her own salary amid the pandemic – and has seen top staff, including her senior executive and chief marketing officer, quit their roles.
Despite having a reported family wealth of £335million, the mum-of-four’s flagship Hong Kong store faces closure as she looks to get her business sorted, according to reports.
A source told The Sun: “Like many, Victoria has reluctantly had to furlough staff members. It wasn’t a decision she took lightly but, for the long-term stability and profitability of the company, it had to be done,” a source told The Sun on Sunday.
“She has been personally keeping all her team involved with emails the whole way through, and has put all of the staff involved on enhanced furlough packages.”

Her plan could see her claiming tens of thousands of taxpayer money, if the government agree to offer a relief grant.
If accepted, her staff will remain employed but 80 per cent of their wages can be claimed back from the government of up to £2,500 per month per employee.
A spokesperson for the Beckhams said: “We are working hard to ensure our much-valued Victoria Beckham team are protected during this unsettled time by keeping our business healthy.
“Having carefully assessed all our options, we made the decision to furlough a proportion of staff on an enhanced package.”
