Piers Morgan has decided he’s turning his back on his heavily-documented Twitter spats and has now decided to use the social media platform “for good”, following the coronavirus pandemic.
The acid-tongued presenter, who has amassed 7.2million followers on Twitter, has ignited several feuds over the years with high-profile figures.
During last year’s election, the 54-year-old berated Hugh Grant’s Labour campaigning efforts, blasted Lily Allen after she said Boris Johnson’s General Election 2019 win was down to racism and misogyny in the country, and has also called out Little Mix after they posed naked to promote their song Strip.
And when it’s not an online slanging match with celebs, he has also criticised trolls and others for not agreeing with his views on the royal family, politics and other subject areas.

However, once the coronavirus outbreak has passed, the father-of-four insisted he’s going to use his voice on Twitter for the greater good.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, the Good Morning co-host admitted he’s turned his back on his public dressing downs.
“I don’t think I will ever go back to the way I used to use Twitter, the old-style stuff,” he told the publication.

He explained that he finds arguing with people “draining” and he’s fed up of having “pointless arguments” with celebrities.
“So much of it was vile and hostile, arguing with the Trolls, and I’m not going to engage with people like that anymore,” he continued.
“I don’t want to lose sense of that platform for good – I want to keep the element of fun, but with no more pointless arguments with people like Jameela Jamil.

“It’s draining, and it’s divisive, and right now I am really enjoying being able to effect change for good, and use my platform in a really effective and helpful way.”
He added: “I hope this situation has given us all some perspective and, that once it’s over, we will stop worshipping material stuff and realise it really does not matter what Kim Kardashian has to say.”
