Holly Willoughby collapsed into giggles on today’s This Morning, when she slipped up during a Coronation Street introduction.
The 39-year-old presenter welcomed Corrie’s Helen Worth to to the show, hinting that filming of the hit ITV soap could return soon.
However, Holly tripped up over her words – leading to a hilarious onscreen apology.
She said: “What’s in store next for long-suffering Gail Platt? Helen Worth reveals why it might not be long before filming at the Rovers Return.”
Quickly, she added the word “return” a second time, realising she had misread the autocue before her.

Erupting into giggles, she said: “I thought that didn’t make sense because its the same word and name!
“Tricky that one. Tripped me right up didn’t it.”
Co-star Phillip Schofield started shaking his head in mock-despair, as he pointed out that viewers weren’t likely to pick up on the mistake.

He said: “Funnily enough I was just going to leave it I thought you might get away with it but why don’t you just shine a light right on that.”
Through her laughter, Holly exclaimed: “I’m sorry! That just didn’t make sense.”
Hoping to return to the show at hand, Phil jokingly replied: “Are you done with your apologies now?”
Wiping away her tears with a smile on her face, she added: “Yes, sorry guys.”
The duo was quick to return to the presenting – no doubt looking forward to Helen Worth’s appearance in the studio later in the episode.
This Morning airs on weekdays at 10am on ITV
