Trolls have attacked Duffy after she revealed her rape and kidnap ordeal.
The Welsh singer stunned fans by telling them her near-decade long spell out of the spotlight was because she took time to recover from being drugged, held captive and raped.
Duffy, 35, received an almost universal outpouring of support.
But some cruel keyboard warriors quickly turned their vicious tongues on her.
One wrote: “Call us a little cynical, but is there a new album coming out?”
Another wrote: “When you’re not relevant anymore and you try to regain your spotlight back in music industries to sell more shows and music.”

Other social media users were quick to defend her bravery.
One wrote: “How can this be the reaction to someone talking about something so traumatic?
“It’s disgusting.”
Duffy was one of the country’s biggest stars after releasing her debut album Rockferry in 2008, reaching No1 in the charts with hit single Mercy.

But after releasing her second album Endlessly in 2010, she announced she would be taking an extended hiatus from music.
Duffy, whose full name is Aimee Ann Duffy, said: “A journalist contacted me, he found a way to reach me and I told him everything this past summer.
“He was kind and it felt so amazing to finally speak.”
The triple BRIT Award winner added: “The truth is, and please trust me I am OK and safe now, I was raped and drugged and held captive over some days.
“But I can tell you in the last decade I committed to wanting to feel the sunshine in my heart again, the sun does now shine.”
