Amanda Holden was stunned as Jimmy Carr poked fun at her singing voice during Saturday’s I Can See Your Voice.
Tonight’s episode of the BBC series saw judges Jimmy, Amanda, and Alison Hammond joined by singer Ronan Keating as the stars attempted to work out which contestants could sing and which ones couldn’t.
While attempting to figure out if one contestant could sing, Jimmy made a cheeky remark about Amanda’s singing voice.
He commented that a picture of the contestant singing when she was younger looked authentic.
Jimmy said: “I don’t think she can sing. But that picture of her performing when she was younger, that looked like a real deal photo.
“Maybe she could sing when she was younger. Could she become a bad singer?”
Amanda said: “Come on, you can’t become a bad singer…”, to which Jimmy gestured towards her and quipped: “Well, you’ve…”.
Holden took the joke well as she went into hysterics.
Alison exclaimed: “Jimmy! Jimmy, stop being horrible to her.”
Jimmy teasingly added: “Yes, but Amanda used to be able to sing!”
The iconic programme sees contestants taking part guess whether the ‘singers’ on the show can really sing or not.
Tonight’s contestants Saaj and Shash were hoping to decipher the good singers from the bad ones, but sadly they couldn’t work it out in the final round.
They hoped their choice of Junior Doctor was correct and would result in them winning mega money.
Unfortunately, they were wrong as when Junior Doctor, Devon, began singing a duet of Life is a Rollercoaster with Ronan, the judges were flabbergasted at her awful singing voice.
This meant that Devon was the winner and bagged the £10,000 cash prize.
I Can See Your Voice airs Saturdays at 7.20pm on BBC One.
