Former Love Island winner Dani Dyer opened up about the “vile” comments she has received on social media in her latest vlog for her YouTube channel.
The 24 year old revealed how she thinks that YouTube is “a nice place to be” when compared to other social media platforms like Twitter.
With over 26,000 subscribers on the video sharing platform, the star filmed a question and answer video and posted it on her YouTube channel on Tuesday.
Before the mum-of-one delved into the questions, she addressed why she quit Twitter.
She said: “Honestly thank you all so so much for always being so kind on my YouTube.
“I feel like YouTube is a really nice place to be, I really like it to be fair, because social media is just so evil.
“I think Twitter is the worst place to be one to be fair. I’ve sort of deleted the app really.
“I am so over Twitter and how mean people are and how judgemental people are.
“It’s just like… so vile and I really hope the way I bring my children up will never to to Twitter to make someone else feel like s**t.
“So yeah I really like YouTube and think it’s a really calm place actually and I really hope it stays that way.”
The Q&A video that was uploaded on July 13 received a staggering 41,000 views and 1,600 ‘thumbs up’.
With over 120 comments, fans flocked to the comments section to share their support for the star.
One fan penned a sweet comment that read: “Danni you really need to come off social media. It’s making you judge yourself too much. It’s the root of all evil. Best thing I done was come off that. Your a lovely girl and it’s going to eat you up. You will feel so much better coming off it x”
While another said: “Totally get where you’re coming from about social media. Regarding all the comments about her partner, I think the poor girl herself will recognise that situation is far from ideal without everyone chucking it at her, & it is her baby’s dad after all!! Goodness. Love for you Dan x”
Yesterday, Dani was spotted publicly for the first time since her partner Sammy Kimmence was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
Peter Martin, 91, and Peter Haynes, 81, were the victims of Sammy’s crime, being collectively out of pocket by almost £34,000.
Dani and her mum were snapped taking back Sammy’s car to the BMW dealership that he recently purchased it from.
Looking a little stressed, the new mum-of-one now faces raising her baby son without his dad for his first few years.
