EastEnders favourite Whitney Dean (Shona McGaty) made a shocking discovery during Friday night’s visit to Walford.
Albert Square killer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) was put on the spot when Whitney found a piece of vital evidence which linked him to Tina Carter’s disappearance.
A plane ticket with Tina’s name on it was found under Gray’s sofa by Whitney, leaving the market stall worker to raise some questions about the missing woman.
However, the scheming solicitor managed to worm his way out the conversation and told Whitney not to tell anyone about the flight ticket.
Viewers at home are convinced that Whitney will tell her ex-father-in-law Mick about her finding his sister’s plane ticket in Gray’s house and the pair will take down the villain together.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “I really hope that Mick and Whitney team up to take down Gray.

“They may have been close to getting together once before but now is there time to team up and become the dream team I would love this too happen. I really hope it does. Mick isn’t stupid.”
Another added: “I really hope Whitney don’t believe this foolishness Gray is saying to her. She better tell Mick and Lind.”
While a fourth viewer said: “Can’t wait for Gray to be found out for killing Tina and Chantelle. Whitney will tell Mick.”
Tina found herself in the frame for attacking Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and decided to do a runner from Walford, leaving behind her friends and family.

However, before she got the chance to flee the square, she discovered that Gray had been lying to her about her case.
The barmaid later confronted Gray about his wife Chantelle’s tragic death and worked out that he had killed her.
Before Tina could share his dark secret with anyone, Gary murdered her and discarded her body.
The scheming solicitor has since done everything in his power to make sure no one finds out about his killer secret.
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) approached Gray earlier this week and demanded that he looked into Tina’s disappearance.
Gray denied knowing anything about Tina’s whereabouts and thought he’d managed to keep the heat off him for a bit longer.
Things didn’t go quite to plan though as Whitney found the plane ticket in Tina’s name under the sofa.
Gray lied to Whitney and told her that Tina didn’t use the ticket because she didn’t want anyone to know where she was going.
He then asked Whitney to keep the information between them and she believed his version of events.
As Whitney left, Gray burned the ticket to get rid of any evidence connecting him to Tina.
He may have bought himself some more time but Whitney’s knowledge and her special connection with the Carter family could come back to haunt him.
Will she share her findings with Mick or will she remain loyal to evil Gray?
EastEnders continues Monday on BBC One at 8.05pm
