Emmerdale beauty Amy Walsh unveils glamorous cropped hair transformation

Emmerdale’s Amy Walsh has debuted her latest hair transformation on Instagram – and she looks stunning.

The 34-year-old actress, who plays Tracy Metcalfe in the ITV soap, ditched her usual blonde locks for a pure white ‘do.

She looked super stylish with a middle parting and artfully choppy bangs, as her shorter hair just reached her shoulders.

Opting for a natural makeup look with pale pink lips, Amy wore a grey sweatshirt and green overcoat as she posed for the low-key photo.

“I got the chop,” the blonde beauty captioned the snap.

She looks pleased to be getting back to the salon after months spent in lockdown.

Amy’s Emmerdale character Tracy has been through some tough times recently, as, after giving birth to baby Frankie, fans suspect she might be suffering from post natal depression.

It was recently revealed that Frankie had a lump on her stomach, which doctors reassured Tracy was just a hernia.

But during Friday night’s visit to the Dales, she didn’t look comforted, and was left alone and in tears after her boyfriend Nate didn’t pick up his phone.

Revealing more about her current Emmerdale storyline, Amy told Inside Soap magazine: “Tracy feels the lump and thinks, ‘My baby has cancer’, so it spirals quite quickly. She also thinks that she’s being fobbed off by the doctor.

“We want viewers to know that over-worrying as a new mum is not a bad thing, and getting a second opinion from a doctor is not a bad thing.”

Amy’s real life away from Soapland is looking a lot more positive, as she is cosied up with EastEnders actor Toby Alexander-Smith.

The 31-year-old actor plays the villainous Gray Atkins in Walford, and made his first public appearance with Amy on the red carpet for A Christmas Carol at London’s Dominion Theatre.

An insider told The Sun: “It’s early days but they really like each other.

“They’re both very busy with packed work schedules at opposite ends of the country, but they try to spend as much time together as they can.”

Amy split from her ex-fiancé Bradley Jaden two years ago, just a year after he proposed to her in Thailand.

But thankfully, things now seem to be going well with Alexander.
