Jess Impiazzi has issued a caution to upcoming stars of the new 2021 series of Love Island.
The Ex On The Beach star has warned Love Islanders not to have sex on screen and to be “careful” about their actions as it “never goes away.”
The former reality star has claimed having sex on the MTV programme almost ended her career.
She told The Sun: “They [new Love Islanders] are young when they go in, you’ve got to think long-term, a lot of these shows are a conveyor belt of people.
“There’s a couple that will do well and carry on doing well for a few years but you’ve got to be prepared for when it’s not and you don’t want to ruin anything for your future.
“Even if you are [doing well], it will still die down at one point and you’ve got to remember to stay true to yourself.”
The 31-year-old, who appeared on Ex On The Beach in 2015, said she was distressed after finding out TV bosses aired footage of her having sex while drunk on the show.
The Hollywood star said the racy ‘mistake’ haunts her to this day, years later.
She added that she “completely” regrets the decision and sees things “differently” now she is older.
Jess warns the young stars set to appear on Love Island this year that “you don’t want to ruin something for the rest of your life”.
Love Island no longer airs sex scenes on the ITV show.
Adding that online articles and repeats of the programme are “forever” she advises that people need to be “comfortable” with the idea their antics will be aired.
