Katie Price has shared details of an alleged assault that saw police and paramedics called to an Essex home – with the reality star needing hospital treatment.
The former glamour model, 43, told The Sun: “I ran away after being punched.”
Katie was rushed to hospital after police attended the scene at 1.30am.
The mum-of-five has revealed she has bruising to the face and a suspected fractured jaw.
A man in his 30s has been arrested.
He was held in custody overnight, after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting the former I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star.

Katie told The Sun: “I’ve got a big bruise, my face is all puffy, and I went to hospital. I’m still all dazed. I’m devastated. I’ve told police that I was assaulted, and am in shock that this happened.
“I ran away after being punched — I ran to Harvey’s house nearby and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.
“I was just sitting there watching telly when the assault happened. I can’t say any more.”

She told police that she had been subjected to a violent attack.
Katie was driven to a friend’s house nearby.
The star was discharged from hospital after a few hours, and said she spent a lot of yesterday sleeping.
Essex Police said in a statement: “We were called by colleagues in the ambulance service to reports of an assault shortly after 1.30am

“We found a woman had sustained a facial injury which required hospital treatment.
“A man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody.”
In a further statement, the police added: “Our investigations are continuing at the scene today.”
